CueRefine converts an existing SRT subtitle file into WebVTT. It changes timestamp syntax and adds the WEBVTT header; it does not transcribe audio or translate dialogue.
Synthetic sample. Download the input and open it in the tool above to reproduce this result. These examples are verified against the subtitle engine, not generated by a model.

00:00:01.200 --> 00:00:04.400
Good work starts with a clear brief.SRT numbers its cues and uses a comma before milliseconds. CueRefine’s WebVTT output uses a header, dot-separated milliseconds and no numeric cue identifiers. The example below has exactly the same start time, end time and dialogue in both formats.
Renaming a .srt file to .vtt does not perform this conversion. Check the exported file in its destination player, especially if the source uses formatting.
Free tools accept UTF-8 SRT and WebVTT, up to 2 MiB and 10,000 cues. Processing happens in your browser, without an account. The local draft is stored in this browser and can be cleared; it is not a cloud backup.
Format conversion keeps the cue start and end times. Use Shift timing separately if every cue needs the same offset.
Malformed timing or an unreadable encoding can prevent a usable export. Check the full diagnostics and correct the source. Re-save non-UTF-8 files as UTF-8; changing the filename extension does not change their encoding.
