Terms of use
These terms cover use of CueRefine’s free browser subtitle tools and public guides. Use files you are entitled to process, keep your originals and review the exported result before relying on it.

The service covered here
CueRefine provides browser tools for existing SRT and WebVTT files, plus explanatory guides. The public free tools require no account or payment. They do not transcribe audio, translate dialogue or guarantee compatibility with every player.
The local review lab is a simulation. Real model review is a separate private workflow and is not enabled as part of this public release. These terms do not promise access to that workflow.
Your files and permitted use
Use CueRefine only with content you own or have permission to process. CueRefine does not claim ownership of your input or exported subtitle content. Processing a file does not grant you rights to someone else’s material.
Do not use the service to violate others’ rights, bypass access controls, distribute malicious content or deliberately disrupt the service.
Review and keep your work
You are responsible for checking exported text, timing and formatting in your intended player or workflow. Read any diagnostics and conversion-loss notices before downloading. Guides and examples explain supported behavior; they do not guarantee an error-free result for every file.
Keep a separate copy of your original and final exports. Local drafts depend on your browser storage and can be lost when data is cleared, storage is unavailable or a device is lost. They are not a backup service.
Availability and changes
Features and availability may change as the tools are maintained. Continuous availability and preservation of local drafts are not guaranteed. This page displays the date of its latest substantive update.
These terms do not exclude rights or protections that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
